OLGA STEFANYSHYN
(nee KULBABA)
June 23, 1933 - September 27, 2020
Olga was born in Stead, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg where she got married and raised her own family. Olga worked as a supervisor at Interlake Foods for over 20 years until her retirement.
Granny was affectionately known as the Perogy Lady and could often be found pinching at the kitchen table. Next to perogy making, Granny's favourite thing to do was play BINGO. Only her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren surpassed her love of chasing the BINGO jackpot.
Olga was predeceased by her husband Harry (1985) and children, Ronnie (1983), Donald, Mary and Ann. She leaves to mourn her children: Irene, Donna (Peter), Robert (Lorraine) and Darlene; her seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family has held a private service with her grandsons as her pallbearers.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home as well as the nursing staff at the Grace Hospital Third Floor for all their compassionate care.
Flowers are graciously declined but if friends so desire donations may be made in her name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
