GRANT CHECKLEY
August 19, 1960 - October 1, 2020

On Thursday, October 1, 2020, Grant passed away at home, with his family by his side.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 34 years, Mona; his children, Brittany (Mario) and Douglas (Maggie); as well as his grandchildren, Axel, Colt and Vincent.
Grant was a no BS kind of guy who drove his 18 wheeler up and across North America for 40 years.
He was an amazing man, always there for his family and friends whether it was with renovations, a good laugh or an honest opinion.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved and remembered.

Condolences & Memories (32 entries)

  • I was deeply saddened to hear today of Grant’s far too early passing. I hadn’t seen Grant in some time but over the years I had built him many CB radios for his trucks and he was always a pleasure to deal for business and always a friendly chap to chat with. Very very sad for such a tragic loss to his family, far to early in a life lived as a true gentlemen.😢 - Posted by: Gerald (Friend) on: May 06, 2021
