RUBY GEORGINA WAREHAM
August 27, 1941 – September 27, 2020

In a sky full of diamonds
He called a Ruby home.

Peacefully in her sleep, our Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, sister, and wife was called Home. We will love you forever! There will never be another like you; loving, caring, and strong willed. Your memory will live on in us all.
Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Glen Wareham. Three daughters Laurie, Patricia (James), and Jennifer (Joe). Grandchildren, Matthew (Alanda), Brooke, Taylor (Zacc), Kristen, Trent, Troy, Erin, Natalie, Samantha, and Sarah. Great Grandchildren, Emmett and another on the way. Siblings, Anne, Laura, Jim, Patricia in-laws Barry Wareham and Dorien Sykes, along with many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased siblings, Porky, Doreen, Doug, Edith, and Billy. Parents, Albert and Delia Hanslip. Predeceased in-laws, Art, Jack, Merv, Gerald. Parents-in-law, Frank and Edna Wareham. Son-in law Dwayne; and granddaughters, Jamie-Lynn and Jessica Dawn, husband and daughters of Laurie.
Mom was the family cheerleader and encouraged the grandchildren in every endeavour, when the grandchildren were young she was on the floor playing with them and had playdough ready to go, colouring books and crayons; paint supplies and anything else she thought they might enjoy! She was continuing the tradition with her great grandchild.
Mom was an avid bingo and card player, our main chef, baker, and all around caregiver. Mom started her employment career at thirteen. She cooked for a combine crew and moved on up from there. Mom raised a family through her many career moves. Mom and Dad worked alternating shifts so we were assured at home parents. When she retired mom and dad began a new life as foster parents.
Mom's 1964 1/2 convertible mustang was her pride and joy. Mom never met a hairdresser that knew how to cut hair! If she liked you, you knew it; and if she didn't you knew that too!
As per Mom's wishes, cremation will be taking place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day"
