IRVINE: The death of Dorothy Jean Irvine, widow of Bill Irvine and late of Westwood Lodge, Rivers, occurred at the Hamiota Hospital on Sunday, January 25, 2009. Mrs. Irvine recently celebrated her one-hundredth birthday on July 17, 2008. The Ceremony to Celebrate Dorothy's Life will be held at the Rivers United Church on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Glenna Beauchamp will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Dorothy to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 9Z9.
