BREIDAL: Passed away at the Baldur Health Centre on Monday January 26, 2009 at the age of 80 years, Kristjan “Kris” Breidal, of Baldur, Manitoba. Kris leaves to mourn his passing his adoptive son Jim and wife Jill Frederickson of Brandon, grandchildren Kristjan, Ricky, Jessica and Jacob, brothers Murray and Skip of Baldur, sisters Vala Erickson and Bonnie Schau of Winnipeg, Lily (Joe) Koldyk of Baldur, Anna (Frank) Peterson of Regina Saskatchewan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kris was predeceased by his brothers Helgi, Bertel and Joe and by an infant sister Jessie. A Celebration of Kris’ life will be held on Friday January 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Baldur, with Pastor Rick Wells officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Bru Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memoriams may be made in Kris’ memory to the Baldur Palliative Care Fund, Box 128 Baldur, Manitoba, R0K 0B0.
