FRIESEN: Johan “John” Friesen. Suddenly on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 John, beloved father of Linda, Laurie and the late Patsy, passed away in Regina, Saskatchewan at the age of 77 years. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Knox United Church in Oakville, Manitoba led by Rev. Chuck Ross. Interment is to follow in Oakville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in John’s memory to Westman Dreams for Kids, Unit 202, 37 – 11th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7C 4J2 or to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7.
