EDMUNDSON: Ruby (Bartram) Edmundson of Shoal Lake passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009, at the Shoal Lake-Strathclair Health Centre, at the age of 81 years. Ruby is survived by her husband James Richard (Dick) Edmundson of Shoal Lake, son Andy (Deborah) Edmundson of Calgary and daughter Geneva (Larry) Chipelski of Russell; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Jack (Marie) Bartram of Birtle, and Ted (Elsie) Bartram of Angusville; four sisters: Janet White of Shoal Lake, Winnifred Gwyer of Birtle, May Patterson of Abbottsford, B.C., and Doris Risely of Shoal Lake. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Shoal Lake Community Hall, Shoal Lake. Interment will follow in the Birtle Cemetery. Pastor Wendy Thom will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Shoal Lake-Strathclair Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
