JACOBSON: Kristine was born Kristine Lynne Johnson on February 28th, 1950 in Esterhazy, SK to John and Verna Johnson. Kristine passed away peacefully on February 22nd, 2009 with her loving family at her side following a long and courageous battle against cancer. Kristine was predeceased by her father-in-law Walter Jacobson. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years Calvin “Skip”, children Glenn (Lori), Janna (Brad Demers), Tyler (Roxanna Smith), grandsons Jacob Demers and Aiden Jacobson, parents John and Verna Johnson, sisters Colleen (Ian Delmage), Ruth (Mark Hutton), mother-in-law Evelyn Baisley, sister-in-law Caren (Gary St.Lawrence) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles¸ cousins and friends. Kristine was a woman of many talents. She loved crafts of every kind, knitting, crocheting, painting, quilting, cooking, reading and sitting down to do some Sudoku. Kristine loved attending hockey, baseball, soccer, volleyball, badminton and rugby games in which her children participated in. She also was an avid Brandon Wheat King fan and held season tickets along with her husband Skip. However, above all, Kristine’s greatest passion were the children she grew to know and love whether they were her own children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or the students of MCI. All of the children who touched Kristine’s life all expressed love and respect in return for her. Kristine was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her strength and memory will live on in all who knew her.
