BROWN: Lillian (nee McMaster) 1917-2009. Passed away at age 91 in Chilliwack, B.C. on March 13, 2009. Born in Roblin, Manitoba and raised in Elkhorn, Manitoba. Lil married Frank Brown in 1937. Frank predeceased her in 2002. They are survived by their three sons, Dave (Joan) of Chilliwack, Larry (Jean) of California, and Bill (Shirley) of Georgia. Lil had four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Erin (Gary), Evan and Emma of Agassiz, B.C.; Jason of Washington, D.C., Adam (Annie) of California; Ginnie (Jonathan) of Georgia. Lil worked many years at Eaton’s, Brandon University and volunteering for St. John’s Ambulance. Lil and Frank retired to B.C. in 1972. They spent 20 years caretaking a highrise apartment building. Funeral services were held at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Surrey, B.C.
