EPP: Linda Colleen Epp (Ehman) died peacefully on February 6, 2009 at Brandon Regional Health Centre, age 59. She was born September 24, 1949, in Kelowna, British Columbia to Eugene and Alice Ehman. She spent most of her childhood there and in Melville, Saskatchewan. It was in Kelowna where she met Constable Wally Epp and they were married there August 28, 1971. They had their first daughter, Carmen, in Vernon in 1974, shortly before moving to Manitoba where they had their second daughter, Andrea in 1976. After a few transfers around Manitoba, the family spent most of their time in Carberry, where she worked at Carnation Foods, and then her and Wally bought the Petro Canada (East End) with another couple. In 2000, Linda moved to Brandon to be closer to her daughters and that is where she met John Hope. They moved to Oak Lake in 2007, where she spent her last days. She is predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Alice Ehman and survived by her daughters; Carmen (Daniel) Blair and Andrea (Bryan) Podworny and her sisters, Donna (Mark) Bradley and Sandra (John) Strong. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Anastasia Podworny, Trinity and Vaughan Blair. The funeral was February 13th in Carberry and a burial is scheduled for late April.
