HOFER: John - 1944-2009. John Hofer passed away on March 23, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 64 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Anita (James), Lon (Marcie), granddaughters Katherine, Victoria, Alexandra, sisters Sue, Rebecca, Lisa, Dorothy, Rachel, Sarah, Christine, brothers David, Jack, Joe and their families. His family will lay him to rest at Treesbank Colony in Manitoba. A memorial service will be held at Southview Alliance Church (1436 James McKevitt Rd SW, Calgary, Alberta) on Thursday April 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. John’s family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Southwood Hospice for giving John almost seven months of amazing spiritual and physical care.
