FAGG: With great sadness we announce the passing of Robert James "Jimmy" Fagg at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the age of 85. Jimmy is survived by his wife of fifty-nine and a half years Shirley; his daughter Lorna (Bill) Martin and his granddaughters: Stacey Martin (Mark Danley) and Lesley Martin. He is also survived by his sister Jean Mackie; sister-in-law Ina Fagg; brother-in-law Neil (Winnie) McCallum and numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Walter and Florence Fagg; infant sister Barbara; brothers: Archie and Glen Fagg; sister Joan Hockley; sisters-in-law: Jean Fagg and Georgie Pilling; brothers- in-law: Fred Hockley, Clarence Mackie, Malcolm McCallum and George Pilling. In 1943, Jimmy joined the Canadian Army serving in England, France, and Germany. In 1946, Jimmy began working at Canadian Motors as an auto painter for forty-two years before retiring in 1984. Jimmy was a man of humour, strength, constant charity, dignity and integrity. He will be greatly missed. At Jimmy's request no service will be held. Interment will take place in spring of 2009.
