BARANYK: Mary Baranyk of Rivers and formerly of Sandy Lake passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009, at the Riverdale Health Cente at the age of 90 years. Mary is survived by two sons: Jerry (Liz) Baranyk of Winnipeg, Stan (Vicki) Baranyk of Winnipeg; two daughters: Helen Boryskavich of Rivers; Olive (Dave) Koroscil of St. Genevieve; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Paul Stasiuk of Sandy Lake and Jim Stasiuk of Elphinstone and one sister Margaret Leitch of Strathclair. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sandy Lake. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Father Emil Kardasinec will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake and Erickson are in care of the arrangements. (204) 759-2160.
