HAARHOFF-HARRIS:Ricky Jason Haarhoff- Harris, March 27, 1976 - May 22, 2009. Suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2009, Ricky Jason Harris, entered the spirit world. He leaves to mourn his passing: his parents Dave Harris and Stella Sawyer; his father-in-law Ernie Pashe, mother-in-law Lena Tacan; his companion and friend Amy Monkman; his children: Kaley Tacan, Kianna Wombdiska, Janaya Harris, Ricki Harris, Sebastian Harris, Aeizha Monkman; one brother Jerry Harris, Long Plain First Nation; two sisters, Nicole Haarhoff, Berlin, Germany, Kerrie Perswain, Long Plain First Nation; many uncles, aunts, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that live in Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and Long Plain First Nation. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother Mary Perswain, Long Plain First Nation and great-grandmother Ruth Branth, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation. A Traditional Wake will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Sioux Valley Veterans Hall. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Dave Thiessen officiating. Pallbearers: Tommy Ross, Waylon Blacksmith, Chris Demas, Ernie Pashe, Joey Pashe, Travis Mazawasicuna. The family would like to thank Ernie Pashe and Lena Tacan for their kindness and support before and during this difficult time.
