BARROWS: Lloyd Howard Barrows of Pierson passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the age of 87. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Howard and Violet (Riddell) Barrows. He is survived by his nephew Gordon (Kathleen) Barrows; four great nieces: Angela (Scott) Johnston and children; Tina (Gregg) Steele and children; Leslie (Aubrey) Gibson and children, and Jody (Grant) Hume and children also his great nephew Kirk (Melanie) Barrows and children. A service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pierson United Church, Pierson, MB, with Reverend Mark Satterly officiating, interment to follow at the Pierson Cemetery. Donations may be given to the Canadian Diabetes Association 727B-10th Street Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 4G7 or to the Kidney Foundation, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3Y 1G4.
