CHAMBERS: Marion Elizabeth born May 30, 1929 at Redvers, SK to Pearl (Loadman) and Bert Kidd passed away June 16, 2009 at the BRHC (Brandon). Marion attended Separate country school until grade 10 when she stayed at home to help her parents until her marriage to Clinton Chambers. They lived in different towns of southern Manitoba, until moving to Brandon in 1966. As a child, she attended Sunday school and as an adult attended the Salvation Army and Baptist churches. Marion always enjoyed watching and listening to the Wheat Kings hockey games. Following the separation of her first marriage, she met Matt Kolody in Brandon. They moved to Strathclair in 1976 until his passing in 1986. She later moved to Brandon where she met a special friend, Doug Murray. She resided primarily at the Princess Towers until her passing. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Pearl (Loadman) Kidd, infant daughter Joyce Chambers, first husband Clinton Chambers, common?-law husband Matt Kolody and special friend Doug Murray. Survived by children Barry, Murray, Len (Claire), Bob (Pat), Sandra (Barry Waite) Harvey (Tammy) Chambers and Larry Kolody (Arlene) and several grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Ken Cassels, Dave Walwyn, Ted Mullens, Darryn Thomson, Donny Lumax and James Lumax. Thank-you to the Homecare staff , Dr. Seitz and the staff at the BRHC.
