BURNS: Robert Lloyd (Bob) Burns, aged 86 years, dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home. Bob lived in Brandon all of his life except while serving in the army with The Fort Garry Horse regiment from January, 1942 until June, 1946. He will be sadly missed by his wife Alleen; daughter Bonnie (Norm) and family; son Robbie (Terry) and family; step-children John, Mary, Paul (Karen), Verna and their families; step-daughter-in-law Lil Gray and her family as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Evelyn, son Raymond, step-son Doug Gray as well as sister Donna (Fernie) Usiner. At Bob's request, cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6. The family would like to thank the staff of Rideau Park Personal Care Home for the excellent care provided to Bob for the past two years.Expressions of sympathy may be made atwww.memorieschapel.com.
