GOOD: The death of Orville Good of Virden occurred at Virden Westman Nursing Home May 28, 2009. He was born August 7, 1924 in Lenore, Manitoba, the eldest son of Winston and Jean Good. He farmed with his father, until he joined South Saskatchewan Regiment and was overseas for three years. When he returned home, he started farming. He married Ferne Jensen November 24, 1948. They had two sons. They retired to Virden in 1980. Orville bred and trained horses for Manitoba Racing Circuit for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Surviving are his wife Ferne and two sons Terry (Sandra), and Bill; two grandchildren Crystal (Chad), Jamie (Debbie); two great-granddaughters Cayden and Casey; two brothers Howard (Frankie), Barry (Joy); and nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Orville to Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation or Virden Westman Nursing Home.
