Henry REIMER

REIMER: Henry Reimer died peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centreon Sunday, July 12, 2009. Henry was born at Schoenwiese Village, Manitoba onAugust 1, 1928. He was baptized upon the confession of his faith when he was a young man. Henry met Lena Epp and together they began their married life on September 7, 1957. Henry worked in grocery retail at the Brandon Co-opGrocery Store, and also as a baker at Country Style Donuts. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, bowling, Barbershop singing (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.), and also singing in the church choir. Henry was a quiet, respectful man and a hard worker regardless of the task. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lena; son Brian (Karen) of Winnipeg; sisters: Anne Randall, Tina Kauenhofen, Helen (Fred) Boehmer; brother Frank (Verna); sister-in-law Susan (Henry) Isaak, as well as many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his infant son; parents, Frank and Anna, and two brothers: Peter and Willy. Funeral Service will be held at Grace Mennonite Church, 951 - 10th Street, on Thursday, July 16, 2009 (today) at 1:00 pm. Pastor Abe Krahn will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Rivers Mennonite Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
