REIMER: Henry Reimer died peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centreon Sunday, July 12, 2009. Henry was born at Schoenwiese Village, Manitoba onAugust 1, 1928. He was baptized upon the confession of his faith when he was a young man. Henry met Lena Epp and together they began their married life on September 7, 1957. Henry worked in grocery retail at the Brandon Co-opGrocery Store, and also as a baker at Country Style Donuts. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, bowling, Barbershop singing (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.), and also singing in the church choir. Henry was a quiet, respectful man and a hardworker regardless of the task. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lena; son Brian (Karen) of Winnipeg; sisters: Anne Randall, Tina Kauenhofen, Helen (Fred) Boehmer; brother Frank (Verna); sister-in-law Susan (Henry) Isaak, as well as many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his infant son; parents, Frank and Anna, and two brothers: Peter and Willy. Funeral Service was held at Grace Mennonite Church, 951 - 10th Street, on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Abe Krahn officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were: Henry Isaak, Tony Klassen and David Randall, Active Pallbearers were: Geordie Randall, Ken Reimer, Cosmo Picca, Shane Dodd, Ed Krueger and Jake Dyck. Interment took place in the Rivers Mennonite Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
