KARNAUS: Jean. Passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto, on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Beloved aunt of Michael, Terry and John Taciuk and Jeff and Bill Old. Survived by sister Stella Old and cousin Rosetta Moroz of Brandon, Manitoba. Predeceased by sister Mary Taciuk. Jean was born in Brandon, Manitoba and moved to Toronto as a young woman. She had a successful career as an Administrative Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. In her later years Jean expressed herself as a wonderful artist, painting flowers she loved. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. Toronto, ON (on Thursday, August 6, 2009, for a Service of Remembrance to be held in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Graveside Service to follow in Brandon, Manitoba.
