DAVIS: Gerda “Gerry” Davis, beloved wife of the late George Davis and mother of Garry Davis and Connie (Dale) Hunt, passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba, on Sunday, August 31, 2009 at 85 years of age. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Decker Community Church, Decker, Manitoba with interment following in the Isabella Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Hamiota Community Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba. Flowers gratefully declined. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Gerry’s memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 8-940 Princess Ave, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 0P6 or to the Hamiota District Health Centre Foundation, Box 671, Hamiota, Manitoba, R0M 0T0.
