ANDERSON: George passed away at the Willow View Personal Care Home, Reston, MB. on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the age of 95. George is survived by his wife Helen of Melita; 3 children: Lawrence (Anna) of Calgary, Eleanor Taylor (Ron) of Kelowna, B.C., and Doug of Hong Kong. A service to celebrate George’s life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Melita Presbyterian Church, Melita, MB. Reverend Barb Alston will officiate, with interment to follow at the Melita cemetery. Donations may be given to the Heart & Stroke Foundation 824 18th Street Unit 3 Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7 or to the charity of your choice.
