COLLINS (CRAM): Rose Grace beloved wife of the late Ernest Collins passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on October 9, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Mother of Murray Collins and Margaret Harness. Grandmother of Brian (Christa) Harness, Kimberly (Neil) Robinson, Jennifer (Sean) Harp. Great-grandmother of Jay and Travis Harness, Owen and Andrew Harp. Mom was born February 14, 1921, to parents William and Carolina Cram in Brandon. She attended Brandon schools and lived in Brandons East End all her life. Mom married Dad, February 14, 1942. Upon Dads return from overseas in 1945, they made their home in the East End. Mom was a great homemaker, cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She especially loved her flower garden, her lilies, always growing a little extra for St. Augustines. Moms love of animals especially dogs and cats meant that many a lost dog or cat found a good home with the Collins family. Mom was a member of My Dog Training Club taking her three registered rough collies, Princess, Scrapper and Sandy for training. With alot of hard work and patience they went to many dog shows across Canada winning many ribbons and trophies. Mom will be remembered for her caring and her love of family. Mom is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Freda Cram and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by parents; sisters, Margaret Cram, Minnie Zywina, Mary Carbener, Edith Grant, Alice Collings, Ruth Borozny; brothers, Joe, Jack, Sid and John Cram; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Reed, Marjorie Metcalfe; brother-in-law Clarence Collins.
