KEHLER: Beverly Ann Your memory,Sparkling like aDiamondIn my hand, will Always shine Among the Brightest starsIn the HeavensAnd will forever beTucked away In my HeartRemembering you with loving and fondest memories dearest cousin, Bev, one year later, November 25, 2009. Beverly Ann Kehler (Johnson) lost her valiant battle with ovarian cancer, Nov. 25, 2008. Bev was born at Souris, Manitoba March 21, 1949 only child of Victor and Jean Johnson (Fedorowich). Bev’s earlier years were spent living at Baldur, Brandon, and then Winnipeg, where Bev completed High School. Bev was then employed by MTS until her marriage to Abraham Kehler, March 1, 1969. Shortly after marriage Bev and Abe moved to Calgary until 1975 at which time they purchased there business Active Muffler. While living in Calgary, they were blessed with two sons, Lane Abraham, born Dec. 27, 1970 and Jarett Douglas May 24, 1973. Bev took an active role along side Abe, managing their business. Bev was equally committed to her church, Mennonite Brethren Church, spending tireless and numerable hours, volunteering her time and diverse talent’s in every aspect. Bev’s happiest times involved entertaining both family and friends, inevitably preparing and cooking in quantity for hosts of people. Bev’s tenacious, persevering, spirit was unfailing as she dealt with her 6 year illness. Truly a remarkable inspiration to all who became part of her journey. Bev’s unwavering faith in God was most evident throughout her illness creating a person, renowned for her relentless inspiration, always encouraging other cancer patients, medical staff, family and friends. This ever present, positive attitude and sunny, caring, disposition, prevailed in every respect till Bev’s life on earth was complete. Bev was predeceased by parents, Victor in 1972 and Jean in 1987, and the profound loss of eldest son, Lane in March 2007. The service to celebrate Bev’s life was held Nov. 29 at Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor David Enns officiating. Interment was held at Baldur Cemetery, July 25, 2009. Left to forever cherish Bev’s memory and legacy are husband Abe, son Jarett and Cindy, and daughter in law Tammy, grand children, Jordan, Kiana, Taryn, Mckenzie, Maya, Tiffany, Brooklyn, and Kristy, honorary grand mother, Lois Carkener, and “Sis” cousin, Bonnie.“A Life Well Lived”
