COMER: William Redvers Comer, formerly of Brandon, slipped away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Misercordia Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, after a battle with heart disease. William will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Shirley Doreen Patterson. William is survived his two daughters, Kimberly Lynn (Michael) Landa of West Fork, Arkansas, and Kara-Lee (Wes) Henderson, of Ardrossan, Alberta. He alsohas three beautiful grandchildren, Reagan and Kendra Henderson, and Reba Paquet, and one great-grandchild, Wyatt William Comer. He is also survived by his brother Derek Comer of Vancouver, British Columbia and we also must not forget his beloved Bichon, Teddy. The Ceremony to Celebrate William's Life will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3319 Park Avenue, on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rick Harwood will officiate. A time of fellowship will follow the ceremony. Interment will take place beside his beloved wife Shirley in the Wawanesa Cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of William to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3319 Park Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7B 2K3.
