JONES: Edith Jones (nee Reid). Passed away at the Rossburn Personal Care Home on January 17, 2010 at the age of 88 years, Edith Jones (nee Reid) of Rossburn/Cypress River, Manitoba. Edith leaves to mourn her son Mark Jones and wife Kathy McKinnon of Brandon, daughter Gwen and husband Wayne Drul of Oakburn, Manitoba; grandchildren Jennifer and Kirk Saban, Collin and Lesia Drul, Braden Drul and partner Michaela Kokan and by three great grandchildren Keira and Justin Saban and Landon Drul. Edith is also survived by one brother Jack Reid, brothers and sisters- in-law Murray (Jean) Jones; Mary Ruston, Laura MacDonald, Nellie (George) Aubry, Kate McDougal and Berneice Jones as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Edith was predeceased by her husband Richard “Dick” Jones in 2002. A Celebration of Edith’s life will be held on Friday January 29, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Cypress River United Church with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment to follow in the Glencoe Cemetery.
