WILL: Sharon Victoria Will (nee Lucas). It is with great sorrow and disbelief that we had to say goodbye. Mom went to be with the Lord, December 21, 2009 after a brief illness. She passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Mom will be greatly missed by her five children and their families: son Lloyd (Gail) and grandsons Jared and Justin; daughter Heather Closen (Ken) and grandson Shawn and great- grandson Kade, step-grandson Kelly Closen and step-great granddaughters Sage and Eve; son Kevin (Norma) and grandson Colby (Christina) and great grandson Aiden, granddaughter Kaleigh and grandson Chaz; daughter Dianna-Lee Fraser (Dean) and granddaughters Kaitlyn, Madison Lane, Sydney and grandson William; son Bradley (Cathy) and grandson Isaiah, granddaughter Breanna. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Johhny and Hazel Lucas and her husband of 52 years Earl Will. She leaves to mourn her brother Edwin (Loretta) Lucas of Penticton, Brithish Columbia, brother Wayne (Yvonne) Lucas of Spokane, Washington, and sister Sandra Daku of Carroll, Manitoba and many nephews and nieces and cousins and her Aunt Helen Gold of Calgary. Sharon was born in Swan River, Manitoba on September 20, 1938. After completing her education and her hair dressing training she married Earl Will on February 10, 1957. Mom dedicated her life to raising her children and providing a caring and loving home to all that entered her doors. She always instilled the value of home and family. After many years of moving throughout the province with the Hydro, mom and dad settled in Carroll in 1969. The farm is home for the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Mom was a very unselfish person and the well being of her family always came first. We thank her with all out hearts for her loving guidance and direction in life. Mom, you will be dearly missed by all near and far. Service was held at the United Church in Souris on December 29, 2009 and a summer interment of her ashes will take place in Carroll, Manitoba and Swan River, Manitoba. Donations in Sharons memory can be made to the Childrens Hospital in Winnepeg or Souris Hospital Foundation. When Im GoneWhen I come to the endof my journey and I travelmy last weary mile,Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned andremember only the smile.Forget unkind wordsI have spoken,Remember some goodthat I have done.Forget that I everhad heartache, and remember that Ivealso had fun.Remember I have fought some hard battles and won,ere the close of the day,Then forget to grievefor my going,I would not have you sadfor a day,But in summer just gather some flowers and remember the place where I lay,And come in the shadeof evening when the sun points the sky in the west,Stand for a few momentsbeside me and rememberonly my best.
