JEFFERY: On Sunday, March 14, 2010, our wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Dorothy Eleanor Jeffery (née Pound) was born August 25, 1931 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Margaret Pound and brother, Wesley. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Doug; daughter Deb and Scott Cockbill of Morden, Manitoba and their children Kaeleigh (Matt) Vodden, Allison (Tyler) Sloan, Jayme (Jason) Handford; daughter Dianna and Ron Harms of Killarney, Manitoba and their children Brody (Amanda), Breanna and Shay; daughter Danine and Dave Weber of Red Deer, Alberta and their children Kevin and Brett (Lindsey); son Don and Shelley Jeffery of Rocky Mountain House, AB and their children Alexandra and Ryan. Dorothy’s family was her joy. She looked forward to the times she had with her family and trips to see them. She was an awesome cook. Her buns and cookies were famous. Second to her family was her love of her dogs. Corky will be lost without her. Dorothy’s care and concern of others will be missed. She left us peacefully, with only one regret, not having the chance to meet her first great grandchild. At Dorothy’s request, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
