LAMB -HOFFMAN: (1922-2010) Isabel (nee Garden) was born in Brandon, Manitoba on February 28th, and spent most of her childhood in Bunclody, Manitoba. She moved to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where she worked at Prairie Airways. It was there she met “The Love of Her Life” Bob Lamb. She and Bob bought a half section of land at Moline, MB. They farmed and raised their three sons Keith (Marg), Ken (Nettie), and Dennis (Harriet). Isabel enjoyed everything life had to offer and never stopped learning new things! She was a life member of W.I. and a foster mother to nine children. Isabel was predeceased by husband Bob, second husband Ross, her youngest son Dennis, three sisters, and seven brothers. Isabel is survived by her sons Keith and Ken, youngest brother Victor (Ruby), nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Isabel’s greatest wish was to live to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved and was very proud of all of them! Isabel passed away on January 3, 2010 at Hillcrest Personal Care Home, Brandon, Manitoba. A celebration of Isabel’s life will be held in Rivers United Church, Rivers, Manitoba on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiating. Interment to follow at Rivers Cemetery. A reception will complete the services at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Rivers, Manitoba. Campbell Funeral Home, Hamiota in care of arrangements.
