PHILLIPS: (née Bray) Ida Vera (Bunny) Phillips of Brandon, MB passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Bunny was born on April 17, 1920 in the Municipality of Odanah to Walter and Louise Bray. She received her education at Roseneath School. Bunny married Dave Phillips in Brandon, MB. Dave and Bunny farmed in the Forrest District for many years. Bunny was an avid golfer and curler, attending many bonspiels through the years. Bunny also had a bit of a Green Thumb and loved to make her garden grow out on the farm and continued her love of gardening with her plants and flowers at her home in Brandon. Bunny is survived and sadly missed by her sister Madge Constable; nephews Wayne (Bev), Robert (Sue), Dale (Lynn) and all of their families from Moose Jaw, SK, niece Eleanor (Tom) Carnegie and family of Brandon and sister in law Phyllis Bray of Brandon. Bunny was predeceased by her parents, husband Dave, brothers Omer and Jack, sisters Mame Walker, Jean Semper and Edna Jamieson; brothers in law Harold Semper, Bill Jamieson and Frank Constable. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens at a later date.
