DIMENT: Mr. William Charles ”Bill”, beloved husband of Doreen, passed away at his residence, the Valley View Care Centre, Brandon, Manitoba at the age of 87, on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 at 11 am at the Brandon Cemetery. Following the service friends and family are invited to gather in the common room at Grand Valley Apartments, 218-4th Street, Brandon. Bill was born October 6th, 1922 in the Lorlie/Duff district of Saskatchewan. In 1946 he moved with his family to Carroll. On February 24th, 1951 he married Doreen Hamilton and raised four children. He worked for the majority of his life as either a long haul truck driver or as a window installer. The last years of his working life he ran his own company as sole proprietor of Western Windows. Bill is survived by his wife Doreen (nee Hamilton), his children and grandchildren Ken (Gwen), Marlene & Marquis; Karen Craig (Mark Le Nabat); Gordon (Arlyce), Daniel; Georgina, Steven and Chalsey; his sister Lil Staples, with nieces Kim Stewart and Debbie Sagel, nephews Eugene and Rodney Diment and families.
