MILLER: Mary Jane Miller, Dec. 22, 1924- May 2010. Peacefully on May 24, 2010 Mary Jane passed away at Golden Links Lodge in Winnipeg. Left to mourn her passing is her son Donald, his wife Laura and her immediate family, siblings Frank, Roy, Tom Dussome, Phylys Ireland and their families. Mary lived a full life including military service during WWII and 15 years as a cook at the Brandon Mental Institution, retiring in 1986. During her life she actively pursued hobbies of fishing, bowling, darts, curling, performing country music, reading and knitting. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Fairview Home for their compassionate care during her stay there. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Brandon Royal Canadian Legion at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010.
