BAWTINHIMER: Carole Lynn Bawtinhimer (nee Rowe) passed away peacefully July 19, 2010 at the age of 60, at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB surrounded by her family. Lynn as born May 15, 1950 to Russell and Isabelle (Renwick) Rowe in Deloraine, MB. She grew up in Elva and Goodlands, receiving most of her education at Waterloo and Waskada. Lynn married her high school sweetheart, Bill Bawtinhimer on July 18, 1970 in Goodlands. It was in Goodlands that Lynn and Bill started their journey of 40 years together. They started their journey around southwest Manitoba in 1971 moving to Moline, back to Goodlands to farm, then to Deloraine, Binscarth and Virden. Each move made new wonderful friends that Lynn cherished all her life. Her greatest joy was the birth of her daughters Kim & Tara, both born while they lived at Goodlands. She taught her girls about life, faith, perseverance, strength, and the love of cooking, gardening, animals, curling and the importance of time with family and friends. With the birth of granddaughters Jaelynn and Ali, Lynn felt such joy and love that mere words cant describe. Just the sound of their voices and laughter could lift her spirits and make her laugh. Lynn loved to cook, having learned the fine art of preparing a feast from her mother, she loved to have family and friends for a meal. In later years she did some catering and found the same enjoyment providing fantastic meals for seniors suppers or special occasions in the Binscarth area. Lynn also had a great passion for animals. She worked in the Vet Clinics in Deloraine and Russell, MB. She took great pride in putting her nursing skills to work on all animals and she felt they appreciated as she said she never heard any patients complain. Lynn also enjoyed helping Bill with all aspects of auction sales. She loved visiting with people at auctions whether she was working them or just going to watch Bill auctioneer. There are no words to describe how much she was loved and how much she will be missed her laughter, love and caring touched all who knew her. She was predeceased by her father Russell Rowe, mother-in-law Ruth Bawtinhimer, father-in-law Frank Bawtinhimer.
