HOWELL: Frederick Donald (Don) Howell, May 30, 1930 - August 15, 2010. With his family's love and support, Don passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Don’s memory are his children Debra (Howard), Sharon (Al), David (Jodi) and Barbara (Doug); grandchildren Chris (Kathy), Jennifer (RJ), Michael, Rebecca (Matt), Stephanie, William, Jacob and Iain; great grandchildren Allyson, Danika, Reid and Amy; brothers Art, Jim (Anne); sisters Joyce and Ruth, sisters-in-law Norma and Betty; brothers-in-law Wes (Eunice), Bud (Louise), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Norma in 2001; parents Wilfred and Cecilia; brothers George and Russ; mother and father in-law Myrtle and Harry Sherris; brothers-in-law Clifford and Lionel. A Tea in Don’s memory will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue. Don will be laid to rest with Norma in Odanah at a later date. If anyone should wish to honor Don's life, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of their choice in Don's name.
