STRACHAN: Calvin James Strachan, of Hamiota, Manitoba, beloved husband of Evie (nee Cowling); father of Whitney and Morgan; son of Harold and Florence Strachan; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 51 years of age. A service to celebrate Calvin’s life will be held at the Hamiota District Sports Complex Curling Arena; on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment. A private interment will take place in the Hamiota Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Calvin’s memory to the Hamiota Golf Course, Hamiota, Manitoba, R0M 0T0; or to the Hamiota Aquatic Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba, R0M 0T0 or to the Hamiota District Sports Complex, Hamiota, Manitoba, R0M 0T0.
