REIDLE: Calvin Leonard Reidle was born on October 30, 1947 in Neepawa and left us August 28, 2010. He was the youngest son of Samuel and Mabel Reidle of Wellwood, Manitoba. Calvin was predeceased by his parents Samuel in 1972, Mabel in 1991 and brother Raymond in 1931. He is the youngest of the family of three. He went to Wellwood school for a few years, then attended Touchwood Park in Neepawa. Then he attended Cor Enterprises until retirement. While going to Touchwood Calvin won a gold medal for speed skating and he also became quite an expert at trimming leather edges from belts. In Brandon he was on a bowling team where he won trophies. Calvin moved to Fairview Lodge due to health reasons til his passing. Calvin leaves to mourn and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jackie, brother Lloyd (Shirley) of Neepawa, sister Margie (Merrill Pederson) of Chilliwack, sister-in-law Melinda “Wanda” (Brent), brother-in-law Lance (Marie), sister-in-law Laurie Wagner of Brandon nephews and nieces Terry (Marlene) Reidle and family of Swift Current, Gary (Barb) Reidle and family of Neepawa and Ray Reidle of Brandon, Wendy Anderson and family of Parksville, B.C., Randy (Pattie) Pederson and family of Maple Ridge, B.C., his Uncle Gerry and Aunt Phyllis Schofield and family of Qualicum, B.C., Teena and Cory Trotz and family, Justin and Bradley Wagner, Brady McDonald (Charlene Ironman) and family, all of Brandon and many cousins and relatives. A graveside service was held September 2, 2010 at the Wellwood Cemetery with Rev. Gladys Anderson officiating. A celebration of his life was held at the Trinity United Church in Brandon with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating. If friends so desire you can make a donation to a charity of your choice. White’s Funeral Home of Neepawa was in charge of the arrangements.
