GOSHULAK: Miss Mary Goshulak, passed away on August 29, 2010 at St. Pauls Home in Dauphin, at the age of 91 years. Upon graduating from the Dauphin Collegiate and Littles Business College, she took up residence in Toronto. She was employed as a Health Clerk for the Toronto Department of Health for 32 years. Following retirement, she returned to Dauphin to care for her aging mother. Mary was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church and its organizations in Toronto as well as in Dauphin. She was a past president of the Ukrainian Catholic Womens League in Toronto and remained an active member in Dauphin. She was an Associate of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate; and participated in the Church Pastoral Care Ministry as well as St. Pauls Home Auxiliary. She is survived by two brothers: Walter, of the Deer Lodge Centre, in Winnipeg and Peter, of Brandon. Also surviving is sister-in-law, Waldemera Goshulak, of Brandon. There are several nieces and grand-nieces; nephews and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Millie Goshulak of Dauphin and by her brother Alex, of Edmonton, as well as sister-in-law, Olive Goshulak, of Dauphin. A celebration of Marys life was held at the Church of Resurrection on Saturday, September 4th. Divine Liturgy was officiated by Rev. Fr. Oleg Bodnarski and the Cantor was Mr. Marvin Procyshyn. The Cross Bearer was Mr. Tony Pulak and The Ukrainian Catholic Womens League acted as Honor Guards. The Reader was Marys niece, Theresa Johnson of Calgary. Her nieces and grand-nieces; nephews and grand-nephews acted as Pallbearers. The Eulogist was Marys youngest brother Peter, of Brandon. Interment took place at the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. The family extends a very special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Pauls Home for the compassionate care given to Mary.
