KNIGHT: Barbara Lynn Knight, of Oak Lake Beach, widow of Henry, passed away peacefully with Brenda at her side at the Virden Health Centre, Virden on September 13, 2010. Barbara was born and raised in Brandon, where she attended and completed her schooling. She founded Four Way Taxi Company and operated the business until she sold the company and retired to Cherry Point. Barb's greatest love was her dogs. She loved feeding the squirrels and birds. She enjoyed being outside, looking after her flowers and yard. Barb loved photography. She shared her pictures with those she loved. Barbara is survived by sons; Cameron (Shann) Gale, Kevin Gale, Stephen (Amanda) Gale. She also leaves a special daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Hefferan. A brother, James (Cora) Gratton also survives. There are numerous grandchildren and a special grandson, Kevin Hefferan. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her husband Henry Knight and a brother, Rick. At Barbara's request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service. Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6. A special thanksto Kevin Hefferan and Jaclyn McBride for the countless hours spent with Barb at home and in hospital. She loved you both very much.
