DEG: Dwight John of Brandon passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 53. Dwight is survived by: His mother Eva Deg of Brandon, bothers Daryl (Kathy), Kevin (Erin), Ian (Jackie), all of Brandon and sisters Mina (Fred) Laycock of Russell and Arvadell (Sid) Egesz of Winnipeg. There are numerous nieces and nephews. Dwight was predeceased by his father John Deg in 1982. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Dwight’s wishes, no formal service will be held. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation “Palliative Care”, or Western Manitoba Cancer Care Project, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba. R7A 2B3.
