MacKINNON: It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John Michael MacKinnon on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. John was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and has lived and travelled to many provinces and countries. He is survived by a daughter, Allison and her mother, Erika. He also leaves parents, Dan and Theresa MacKinnon; a brother, Donald (wife Loriand children Devon and Joshua); a brother Robert (wife Julie and daughter Brooke). There are numerous relatives across Canada. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, September 30, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Shannon McCarthy officiating. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of John to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3- 824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7 or the Manitoba Lung Association, 8, 940 Princess Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 0P6 or to a charity of choice.
