BANDURA: Barbara Joan Bandura (nee MacDonald). Peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba with family and friends at her side, Barbara Joan Bandura passed away at the age of 56 years following a two year courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born in Portage la Prairie to Eva Hanks (nee Ogrodnick) and Murray MacDonald. She is survived by 2 daughters, Bryn Kristen and Tara Brittany and their father Randy Thomassen, her parents, her sisters: Shirley Barrett and Kathy Alexander and her brother, Brian MacDonald. Barb was loving and caring mother. She lived life to its fullest. She would do anything for her girls and will never be forgotten for this. No words can express how much she will be missed. We take solace knowing that she will be watching over us. We love you mom and you will forever be in our hearts. Barbara worked for Manitoba Public Insurance for 37 years. Barb will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Death leaves a heart ache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010 with the Reverend Marg Scott officiating. A private family interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery at a later date.
