ELLIOTT: Russell (Russ) Elliott, beloved husband of Ida and loving father of Bill Elliott and the late Valerie MacKenzie, passed away at WestMan Nursing Home, Virden, Manitoba on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in his 94th year. Family and friends may call at Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden, for a time of viewing on Monday, November 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul’s United Church, Virden at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2 with Reverend Lydia Glawson officiating. Interment will be in Virden Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3, 824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba in memory of Russ.
