FIEBER: Irma Fieber was granted her angel wings on November 3rd 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family in Hannover, Germany and in the thoughts and prayers of those many friends she touched throughout the 20 years she and Wolfgang lived here in Canada. Irma’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Although Irma was very ill, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.  Irma’s hospitality and talents as a wonderful cook and hostess were enjoyed by her many friends and those who stayed at “Irma’s Bed and Breakfast”. She would spend hours making Birthday or Christmas Cards for those she loved so much. Celebrating with the Ladies in “The Birthday Group” was always a favorite of Irma’s.  If you happened to drop by to visit Irma chances are you would find her in her garden where a guided tour a must. “Irma, God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you; The Day God Called You Home.”Irma was a very active member of the Brandon Community volunteering with the Brandon Regional Health Authority Ladies Auxiliary, The Inner Wheel and The Nearly New Store. Irma is survived by her loving husband Wolfgang, Daughter Petra, Son Armin and Family and Son Carsten and Family. One of Irma’s last wishes was to thank all of her friends in Canada for all of their Love and Support. A Mass was said for Irma on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010; 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church.
