HAWKINS: Kenneth Horace Hawkins passed away December 31, 2010 at Hillcrest Place, Brandon. Kenneth was born in Brandon on April 11, 1919. He is survived by his children: Lorraine Good, Allan Hawkins (Darlene) and John Hawkins (Fran), grandchildren; Susan Gallinger (Michael), Ken Palen (Soraya), John Palen, Andrew Good (Erin), Darcy Hawkins (Dianne), Todd Hawkins (Patricia), Patti-Jo Burt (Jamie), Craig Hawkins (Nicolle), great grandchildren; Leanna and Reid Good, Abigail Hawkins, Codie, Tyler, Grayson and Jaxon Hawkins, Tessa and Kayla Burt, Rayna and Hunter Hawkins. Also surviving are two sisters, many cousins and relatives. Ken was predeceased by his wife Mary Margaret on January 9, 2009. He was also predeceased by his three brothers and one sister. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Arlene Robertson will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Ron Hawkins, Ernie Galatiuk, Darcy Hawkins,Craig Hawkins, Todd Hawkins and Jamie Burt. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Ken to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation, 339 - 12th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 4M3 or to a charity of choice.
