TROLLOPE: Dennis Arthur March 17, 1937 January 21, 2011. Dennis Trollope, beloved husband and proud father passed away peacefully at the Salvation Army Agape hospice, Calgary, AB, after a long and well- fought fight with numerous ailments on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Dennis was born in Hartney, MB and lived with his family in Lauder and Brandon, MB prior to moving to Medicine Hat, AB where he lived most of his life and grew a successful welding company, Bromley Mechanical, for years until retirement. In the last nine years of his life he lived in Calgary and Cochrane AB. He was very involved with the Kiwanis Club in Medicine Hat including volunteering his services for Safety City. He worked to better the lives of the children around him and abroad. He sponsored the education of many children in Uganda, helped to build a childrens village, computer programs and other self sustaining projects for them. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Gisele Glazer, three sons, Brian (Sherri) Trollope of Yorkton, SK, Don (Colleen) Trollope of Brandon MB, and Murray (Vicki) Trollope of Medicine Hat, AB. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and two great-grand children, numerous nieces and nephews, a sister Audrey Tripp (Art) of Port Coquitlam, BC, two brothers Keith Trollope (Marg) and Garry Trollope (Donna) both of Brandon, MB. Dennis was predeceased by his father Allan, his mother Hazel and an older brother Vaughn. A Memorial Service will be held at McInnis & Holloways, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Agape Hospice for their extraordinary loving care during Dennis stay. They were real angels for Dennis final days. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends wish, a donation can be made to the kidney foundation in lieu of flowers.
