BROWN: Passed away unexpectedly at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday January 24, 2011 at the age of 69 years, Donald Earl Brown, of WawanesaManitoba. Don was born the seventh child to Norman & Ida Brown (nee Little) on September 29, 1941 at Souris MB. Don was employed at the Brandon Mental Health Centre as a maintenance assistant for 29 1/2 years. Upon retiring, Don pursued his first love of horses and harness racing & was heavily involved in the Great Western Harness Racing Circuit in Manitoba. Don leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Margaret (nee Steer), daughter Marilee (Scott) White of Halifax N.S., son Graeme (Rhonetta) Brown of Brandon, grandchildren Christopher Brown, Britney Brown (Bryan Houston), Ashley Brown, Taylor Brown, Echo Brown and Tylo Brown, one great grandchild Brenden Houston; brothers Russell Brown of Medicine Hat Alta., George (Emily) Brown of Wawanesa, Elmer (Audrey) Brown of Oak Lake, Ray Brown of Brandon, Mervin Brown (Evelyn Westerby) of R.M. of Oakland, a brother-in-law Russell Angus of Brandon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Don was predeceased by his parents, a sister Audrey Angus & by a granddaughter Rachelle Bates. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday January 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Millford Cemetery with Rev. Beth Clark officiating.
