GLASEMAN: Luverne (Chick) Glaseman. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Chick fought a courageous battle with cancer, but succumbed to this disease on Friday, February 4, 2011 in Penticton, BC with his loving wife Yvonne (nee Johnston) by his side. Chick was born July 16, 1951 in Brandon, Manitoba. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, sons Murray and Terry and 4 wonderful grandchildren Cassidy, Whitney, James and Christopher. Also surviving are his parents Kay and Leon Lacharite, brothers and sisters Darwin (Karen), Pat Hadley, Dale (Janet), Yvonne (Oscar) Collette, Corky (Darcy), Barb (Art) LaFleche, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will remembered Chick for his sense of humour and his very loving heart.God saw you getting wearyWhen a cure was no to beSo he closed his arms around you And whispered “Come with me.”You didn’t deserve what you went through.So he took you home to restGod’s garden must be beautifulfor he only takes the best.We love you and will miss you Chick, Rest in Peace!
