DICKEY: It is with great sadness the family of Estella Annie Dickey (Hudson) announce her passing on Friday, April 8, 2011, at her residence, the Oddfellows Corner. Estella was born to Alvin and Ruth Hudson on April 4, 1937 at Vanguard, Saskatchewan. She later moved as a baby to a farm at Roseisle, Manitoba where she received her schooling to Grade 11. During her working years Estella was a telephone operator, did custom sewing and was a school custodian. Estella was an avid card player and enjoyed crafts, sewing and Wheat King games. She was predeceased by her husband Alvyn Dickey; parents Alvin and Ruth Hudson; brother Bob Hudson; and brothers-in-law Ron Renwick and Jim Stewart. Estella is survived by sons Dwayne and Allen Dickey; granddaughter Jessica Dickey; brothers Hilton Hudson, Ewart (Joyce) Hudson, Ken (Shirley) Hudson and Neil (Barb) Hudson; sisters Dorothy Stewart and Grace Renwick; sisters-in-law Joy (Bill) Gill, Muriel (Barry) McNaughton and Dorothy (Joe) Kozak as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Estella's life will be held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Shannon McCarthy will officiate. Interment at a later date at Carman Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in Estella's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society- Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg Manitoba, R3C 2B7; Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O.
