WALLACE: Allan Edwin Wallace passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Regina General Hospital, Saskatchewan at the age of 85 years. He was born on August 28, 1925 at Golden Stream, Manitoba on the family farm where he grew up. He married Darlene Reshaur on December 10, 1949 and they resided in Gladstone until 1957 were their two daughters were born; Beverly in 1950 and Linda in 1955. They moved to Belmont, Manitoba in March of 1957 where Allan was employed by Anglo for 10 years. In 1967 the family moved to Brandon where Allan worked at Simplot and later retired from ACC when Darlene passed away on June 3, 1984. Allan married Dorothy Scott of Brandon and when she passed away he moved to Regina in 1991. He married Nina Mitchner on December 12, 1991 and they spent several years in British Columbia where they enjoyed RV life. They returned to Regina in 2006. Allan is survived by his wife Nina; his daughter Beverly (Ken), their sons Jonah and Geoffrey (Lyndsey); his daughter Linda (Ron), her daughter Cynthia (Wayne) and their children Renna & Sean her son Nicholas (Miranda) and their children Adrian and Blaine. He will also be missed by Ninas daughter Carolyn and her sons Lee (Kaye), Terry (Nina) and their children and grandchildren. Allan is also survived by his brother Robert (Joyce); brothers in law Harold Lobban and Roland Reshaur; sisters in law Joyce Reshaur and Betty Lynn Vincent as well as many very special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Darlene; his second wife Dorothy; his sister Lela Hillman; his brother Wendell and his twin sister Alma (March 1, 2011). He had a keen interest in people and life. His good nature and friendly personality brought him into contact with many people. He will be sadly missed by all. A time of sharing and refreshments was held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gladstone United Church Annex.
